Last night, Shireland Hall Primary presented an outstanding performance of William Shakepeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream. The performance starred children from Years 4, 5 and 6 who have worked tirelessly over the past few months during lunchtimes, after school and in the holidays to put the performance together, alongside Mr Ball and Mr Walsh.
This year marks the 400th anniversary of the death of William Shakespeare and to celebrate the life of this most famous playwright, the Royal Shakespeare Company produced a one-hour edit of this fantastic play.
The audience were so impressed with how well the children learnt these complicated lines! Well done to all of the children that took part and thank you to Mr Ball and Mr Walsh for their time, commitment and passion to enable this performance to happen.
