Children in Years 3, 4 and 5 enjoyed a fantastic theatre production this morning. The performance started with 2 children – Dotty and Oli – discovering a chest containing artefacts. This led into the story of Harry and Vera, a soldier and nurse who were separated during World War One. Fortunately, they were reunited and both survived the war. It turned out that they were Dotty and Oli’s great-great grandparents!
It was really good! The acting was great and they did loads of different voices.
It was funny! The use of the puppets was great. I love puppets.
My favourite characters were Harry and Vera because they were so romantic!
Vera was my favourite character because she was so dramatic.
True love can never be parted!
